Room very spacious and comfortable. Didn't use the gym facilities apart from the massage with Natalie from Knots Massage (which I accidently discovered upon check-in), which was absolutely amazing! She really knows her stuff and it was the best massage I've had! Hotel should really promote it more. Breakfast was really good too, tasty with plenty of variety. Staff are very accomodating and friendly.

The location of the hotel is brilliant. It has a grand, exclusive ramp entrance to it...one that is a legacy hangover from the now defunct railway station it used to share premises with. The railway station is now an extensive car park which is such a luxury right in the middle of Sheffield city...no shortage of car parking spaces. The hotel itself has all the legacy features from decades in the past when it has served as a hotel for railway travellers...right next door to the station that no longer exists. The spaces in the hotel are large, and the rooms are too. We had a room with two double beds in it. A great choice of pillows, which could be of better quality. Found one pillow that suited me. Slept well in the room. The AC does work, but the controls in the room don't influence the AC temp a great deal. Did not use wifi as I used my own telephone to tether my lap top to. The desk in the room is suboptimal, with a bar running across that you tend to butt your shins against..ouch! The room decor is wonderful...beautiful colours...clean carpet. The breakfasts are sumptuous and the staff are very helpful and courteous. The typical Yorkshire endearments were a great touch! Lots of very courteous and helpful staff of foreign extraction too. Good team ethos.

Only a short walk from the city centre. We were quickly checked-in (early I might add 👍). The building is beautiful, the room was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite there being a little traffic noise from a nearby busy road and some noise from an event within the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely return.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely polite, especially the beautiful girls at the reception Smruthi and Nicky 😊you are very kind and sincere, thank you very much for your help and understanding. 😊And also the man from the restaurant who helped us order the food, (but unfortunately we didn't ask your name😔) thank you for your help, you are a very kind, sincere guy with a nice smile😊Thank you, you will not leave us hungry. We also thank the cook for such dishes, it was very tasty. 🤤This team keeps me coming back here again and again. We will recommend this wonderful place to everyone.😊🤗

I really like the hotel, lots of character and a mix of modern and traditional decor. Plenty of parking available and a short walk into the city centre Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Stayed in a junior suite which was comfortable and spacious, with a coffee pod machine and kettle, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. Bathroom had a bath and separate shower. The toiletries were lovely. Breakfast was very nice with a great selection and kept well replenished.

The staff were incredible - the hotel was full and they were really under pressure - but from reception, to the bar, to breakfast staff - they were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. For me, they made the difference from it bring a nice hotel and nice stay to a great experience

Room was excellent, beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and nicely presented. Shower cubicle was a little small for a man. Loved the authentic surroundings and sympathetic decoration. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and lots of choice and good quality, very moderately priced at £10 each!

Extremely comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very nice surprise to have 2 bottles of complimentary water in the mini bar. Lovely to have a window that opens! The only small negative is that the room was quite hot and i couldn't work out the air con .. All the staff were welcoming, polite and helpful and breakfast was delicious!

I arrived early and waited in the bar until my room was available. I was delighted to receive a free upgrade and I was told it was the best room in the hotel. Indeed it was! It was absolutely lovely, right from the huge bed, the free-standing luxury bath in the bedroom to the separate seating and work area. There was a beautifully appointed walk-in shower bathroom with luxurious toiletries and a plethora of big, soft, white fluffy towels. I wish I could have stayed longer!

This was originally a railway hotel that has been updated. The room was great - two huge beds and…lots and lots of USB ports!! The bathroom had a bath and large separate shower. The staff were all really lovely - very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is currently being refurbished, which means that breakfast is served in a large function room - but what a breakfast! Plenty of choice and constantly replenished.
